This stand works perfectly with VIZIO satellite speakers!!

This stand works perfectly with VIZIO satellite speakers!!
I like these standsvery much. I used them with my VIZIO satellite speakers for my sound bar system. I would like to refute the negative comments about the use of these speakers with the VIZIO speakers. One comment I read, when trying to make my choice, was that the wire coming out of the speaker hits the speaker stand in a way that it can not be put on in alignment with the base. There are 2 different connections on either end of the speaker wires. One connector is L shaped and the other is straight. The directions on installing these do not differentiate them in any way when hooking them up to the subwoofer or the speakers. I used the L connector in the speakers which allowed the wire to fall straight down the shaft of the stand. I used the straight end in the subwoofer. Basically the wire is flush with the speakers as well. Thus no alignment problem. My second suggestion is one that I read in the review comments prior to buying the stands and that is to use the connection screws provided with the subwoofer to connect the speakers to the stand. This aleviates any loose connections between the speakers and the wires. That was one of my concerns and it worked wonderfully when I did this. The wire , however, can not be hidden in the shaft of the stand. I used black Velcro to secure the wires along the back of the shaft. It looks neat, plus there is enough room under the base of the stand to bundle any extra wire and hide it there. The stand comes with carpet spikes to keep it secure on carpet, but I just used the rubber ones used for hardwood or tile floors because the base is super sturdy with enough weight to keep the stand from tipping or moving. All in all I gave this a 5 star rating because my needs were met. Some people voiced concern about the coupling that keeps the stand at the correct height for your use. The piece is plastic. If you are not constantly repositioning the stand there should be no problem with it. Constant movement on anything will wear it out. I have no complaints on this matter. As far as shipping my product came 3 days early which is a win in my book!

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 6, 2021
Bought these stands for a set of rear surround speakers which are part of the Sony HT-S40R 5.1 surround system, they do the job but on initial setup I found the required brackets to be slightly too wide due to the lugs either side of the screw hole on the reverse of the speakers, not just a tight fit but ever so slightly actually bending the lugs outwards. See pics! IMO if this was rectified and the brackets were reduced in width by only 3 or 4mm, these are a 5 star product.

But all in all, the stands are sturdy, easy to assemble and very stable with my speaker set, they do a fine job.
