During the first 7 rows I laid it jammed 3 X’s. Grrr. After losing time dismantling and unjamming it I was ready to return it. But what I found was that the nail pusher would occasionally slip under the nails and stop pushing the nails, causing it to jam. I firmly pressed in on the nail guard (see arrow on nail guard) to bent it a little so that the nails would remain in front of the nail pusher. Since performing this adjustment I did over 40 rows and it didn't jam again!I also put tape on the nail pusher to watch when I’m running low on nails. Then with each set of nails I would disconnect the air line and add 2-3 drops of oil to the air intake of the nailer.I placed white tape on my line of sight right where the nailer is located. This is so I don’t accidentally set the metal part of the nailer on the hardwood’s surface and mar it.Lastly, if you give it a weak wack and only partially set the nail, don’t bother trying to pull it out. I tried and it’s impossible. I just partially cut it with a hacksaw blade (held in hand,) grab the nail with pliers and snap it off. Takes about 6-8 seconds. Really the best way I found. Again, this was from my inexperience. Consistently give nailer a firm wack to set the nail properly. This is my first job and it looks great. I’ve gotten many compliments on it!
